Kroonstad -DR Church Kroonstad North

The cornerstone of the Dutch Reformed Church Kroonstad North, at the corner of Reitz, Symonds and Malherbe St, was laid on 13 April 1935, and the building was inaugurated two years later on 3 April 1937.

The building was designed by Gerhard Moerdijk, who was best known for designing the Voortrekker Monument in Pretoria.
The construction costs of the church in Kroonstad amounted to 26,285 Pounds.

This building is placed on the Heritage Register of the South African Heritage Resources Agency (SAHRA)
